HAVERFORD - A chase involving a suspected stolen car ended in a fatal crash that left one person dead overnight, authorities said.

According to KYW-AM (1060), sometime before midnight, a Land Rover was reported stolen in Radnor Township.

A vehicle matching the description of that stolen S.U.V. was spotted by a Haverford Township police officer on routine patrol near Haverford and Eagle Road.

When the officer tried to stop the vehicle, he said the driver sped out of sight.

About two miles down the road, that stolen Land Rover crashed into the side of a Volkswagen Jetta.

Two men were in the Jetta, both Villanova students. One was killed, the other was taken to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in critical condition.

Police say the driver of the suspected stolen continues as the vehicle fled the scene. The hunt for that person continues.

In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, kicking off today, celeb mom-to-be Christina Applegate has helped design a beautiful necklace to raise money for her Right Action for Women foundation.

Christina Applegate herself is a breast cancer survivor, undergoing a double mastectomy last year, even though cancer was only detected in one of her breasts. Her mother is also a breast cancer survivor.

Applegate, along with jewelry designer Alex Woo, worked together to design the pendant necklace called “Tree of Life.”

The website describes the jewelry piece for Breast Cancer Awareness Month: “the pendant with an encircled tree represents harmony, hope and renewal. Each of the seven leaves remind us to live everyday of the week to the fullest. The feminine curves of the tree and branches signify the delicate handmade ribbon roses Christina made for her loved ones while battling breast cancer.

BERLIN — BMW AG says the recall of nearly 200,000 luxury vehicles in the U.S. to fix leaks that could develop in the power braking system might also affect another 150,000 cars of the same series around the globe.

Spokesman Frank Strebe said Friday there are globally 345,000 BMWs of the 5 Series, 6 Series and 7 Series vehicles powered by V8 and V12 engines and almost 6,000 Rolls Royce Phantom models that could be affected by the problem.

But he said that there were no plans yet for recalls in countries outside the U.S.

He added the company went ahead with the recall in the U.S. because it's the biggest market concerned and because of the legal situation there.

Strebe stressed there have been no reports of accidents or injuries.

Justin Timberlake and US talk show host Jimmy Fallon are becoming one of the hottest duos in hip-hop after their rap medley became an online hit.

They performed a medley of rap hits on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon in the US on Wednesday night, and the clip is becoming a viral hit.

Jimmy and Justin started off with Sugarhill Gang's classic Rapper's Delight and then performed jams from artists including the Beastie Boys, the Notorious BIG, Jay-Z and Eminem.

Jimmy, 36, said he was surprised by the success of the performance.

"We never know what's going to viral or get picked up, and this one's beyond what we thought it would do," he said.

Though the clip looks all fun, he said, he took the time to get it right before taking the stage.
