Beanie Sigel Disses Jay z ...Jay-Z and Alicia Keys brought their Big Apple ode "Empire State of Mind" to Yankee Stadium's center field last night before game two of the World Series. The Yankees won the game, beating the Philadelphia Phillies. This is not a coincidence.
In weirdly related news, onetime Friend of Jay-Z and Roc-A-Fella mainstay Beanie Sigel-- who happens to be from Philadelphia-- just unleashed a diss record aimed at his old boss called "What You Talkin Bout (I Ain't Ya Average Cat)".
On the seven-minute track, Beans doesn't talk baseball, but he does talk about how Jay allegedly "snitched" on him and basically won't return his calls. Unlike most Jay-Z disses, though, this one isn't just petty and attention-grabbing. Beanie is clearly torn up by the falling out, as shown by a long, ranting outro during which he seems to be near tears.
