Heavily bearded Giants pitcher Brian Wilson, who earlier this year had the honor of fulfilling a lifelong dream of becoming a NYT crossword clue, knows his way around the S.F. food scene as well as he does around a Will Shortz puzzle. Last night on the MLB Network, during the All-Star Game, he chatted with hosts Chris Rose and Kevin Millar about a recent dinner he treated them to at Gary Danko. To wit: "It's a fourteen-star restaurant. It's got everything you could possibly want. The lobster risotto... if there was another word for excellent... and I can't think of it right now."
